Kaitlyn Gerdau is a versatile bassist based in Nashville, Tennessee, with a background from Belmont University. Known for her rock-driven style, she’s skilled across multiple genres and passionate about collaborating with others. Recently, she completed a three-month headlining tour with Odie Leigh, performing 44 shows, and has played at major festivals like Shaky Knees and Outside Lands. A studio musician, Kaitlyn has recorded at iconic studios like Oceanway and Sound Emporium. Beyond performing, she has a keen interest in music marketing, having interned for the app We Should Write Sometime in 2023. Influenced by 2000s rock bands like Paramore and Fall Out Boy, Kaitlyn aims to inspire other female musicians while continuing to push her own musical boundaries.
